Rental Car Deposit
When you rent a vehicle from Oscar, a deposit is always required. It will be refunded in full if the rental is completed as agreed. Below you can read more about our deposit policy, which usually depends on the choice of coverage package.
Coverage Packages
You can see the different coverage packages in the table below. Pick the coverage that best suits your needs, with options to reduce your deposit and deductible for peace of mind on the road.
The deposit will be reserved on your payment method when you pick up your rental car. At Oscar Car Rental, the entire rental process is handled online, and as a result, we do not accept cash payments.

Please note: the deductible is the maximum amount you are required to pay out of pocket in case of damage to or theft of the rental vehicle. Deposit amounts may vary depending on the location and the vehicle. The amounts shown are indicative only; the exact amount will be displayed during the booking process after you have selected your preferred vehicle. When selecting the Basic Coverage Package, you accept the following condition: "I confirm that I will use my own insurance and accept responsibility for any damages or claims. I understand that my insurer may charge me to cover these costs."
